Come and celebrate winter with us, PNE-style.

Join us at Discover Santa where you can embark on the ultimate journey to meet Santa Claus, test a toy, and leave a snack for your favourite reindeer, ride the PNE Holiday Express, wander through Winter Lights presented by BC Hydro – a great place to snap a photo! –  and go skating – or try the Ice Bumper Cars – at the Tim Hortons Ice Rink, and then warm up with the culinary extravaganza at the Holiday Eats & Treats.

When you’re ready for a break, you can enjoy live programming like Nutcracker on Ice and the Magic of Santa.

We also have two rides that are new for this year! Have a fun on the ferris wheel or the Berry Go Round.

WinterLights presented by BC Hydro

Enjoy a magical holiday journey through the WinterLights display presented by BC Hydro!

Marvel in the glow of the Northern Lights as you’re transported through incredible Polar Passage light tunnel. Revel in the sweet displays of Candy Cane Lane. Explore enchanted lands filled with glowing lights and lavish displays including foxes, seals, giant moose, arches, presents, and a new illuminated train.

Come experience a night of a thousand sparkles as the Winter Fair lights up the night.

Nutcracker On Ice

Experience the enchantment of Tchaikovsky’s timeless masterpiece like never before in “The Nutcracker on Ice.” Watch in awe as world-class figure skaters gracefully glide across the frozen stage, seamlessly blending the elegance of ballet with the breathtaking athleticism of ice skating. Journey with Clara and her beloved Nutcracker Prince through a winter wonderland filled with captivating choreography, stunning costumes, and dazzling special effects.

Magic of Santa: Holiday Musical Stage Show

 

The Magic of Santa Holiday Musical is a Christmas present for the entire family. Join Skitter the Mouse searching for his very own special Christmas wish. Along the way, Skitter meets a jolly cast of characters, including Rudy the Polar Bear, Tinsel the Christmas Tree, Rocking Reindeer and Mrs. Claus, all with wishes of their own, who are determined to help find Skitter’s magic wish.  The Magic of Santa – – it’s a Christmas wish come true!

Showtimes: 5:00pm & 7:30pm

Discover Santa: Interactive Journey to Meet Santa Claus - Pacific Coliseum

If you enjoyed the PNE Fair’s Discovery Farm experience in the summer, then you and your little ones are going to love this Santa-themed adventure. With the assistance of our elf team, you can write a letter to Santa at the Post Office, make an ornament, and leave a delicious treat in the Reindeer Barn for the reindeer to discover later (be quick, they’re out right now and we wouldn’t want to spoil the surprise!). Next, make your way over to Toy Testing where you can do some quality checks to make sure all the toys are ready to be shipped out around the world. Once you’ve completed all the stations, you’ll get to meet Santa!

Professional photos with Santa will be available at an additional cost.

PNE Express Train - Holiday Edition

Get ready for a magical ride through the PNE Winter Fair attractions. It’s a journey filled with glowing lights, fantastical displays, and endless fun, as you pass through mesmerizing light tunnels that mimic the dazzling Northern Lights. 

$2 per person per ride.

 

 

Activities on Tim Hortons Ice Rink

Skating

Enjoy skating on the Tim Horton’s Ice Rink. The historic Agrodome which will be transformed into a classic Canadian winter pond where guests of all ages can experience the joy of this iconic holiday activity with friends and family.

The public skate has a limited capacity and guests may have to wait for ice access during busy times.

Helmets are mandatory for guests 12 and under.

No wheelchairs, strollers, or scooters allowed on the ice.

Bring your own skates to skate for free! $8 to rent skates.

Ice Bumper Cars

Back by popular demand!

The coolest fun for the whole family! Say goodbye to traditional bumper cars and prepare for a whole new level of excitement on the ice. Glide seamlessly across the slippery surface, spin, twirl, and safely bump into other cars.

The Ice Bumper Cars attractions will have limited capacity. If you like to experience the Ice Bumper Cars, pleas arrive early and visit us in the lower level of the Agrodome and follow the signage down the hallway. Tickets will sell out!

Minimum Height to ride: 48”

Maximum Weight:300lbs

Limit of one passenger per ride unit

$8 per person to ride.

Midway Games

Step up and try your skills at the PNE Winter Fair games! Games include Pop Starz (balloons), Whac-a-mole and Roll-a-ball (new this year!). Compete against your friends and family to win festive prizes.

Plays start as low as $7/game.

Winter Chalet - Live Holiday Music

Step out of the chilly night air into the cozy charm of the Winter Chalet at PNE Winter Fair. Immerse yourself in the festive ambiance as talented musicians fill the air with enchanting melodies. From classic carols to modern hits, the music will ignite your holiday spirit.

Enjoy this warm retreat, sip a hot beverage, and celebrate the holiday spirit.

Community showtimes: 5:30pm & 7:00pm
