Provide an exceptional guest experience at Playland candy stands while processing transactions and operating a point-of-sale system. This includes serving a variety of food items to guests and operating a variety of equipment. Perform cleaning duties and general upkeeping tasks to maintain a clean and organized work area.

Prepare, stock, and deliver food items for Playland candy stands. This is a physical role which requires an ability to mop, sweep, and lift food & beverage inventory of up to 50 lbs repeatedly.

Ability to take direction, and the endurance and stamina to consistently complete physically demanding job tasks.

Prepare and dispense food items in a fast paced environment while adhering to safety and sanitation policies. Work with peers to stock the preparation area with all required food supplies, and ensure kitchen area is kept clean at all times.

Knowledge of kitchen operations and food safety guidelines. Must be comfortable working around cooking grills and in a hot environment.

Provide an exceptional guest experience by engaging with guests, encouraging them to play, and monitoring gameplay. Duties include selling games, processing monetary transactions, prize distribution and maintaining displays.

Energetic, enthusiastic, charismatic and strong initiative. Confidence in effective communication to enforce rules and policies.

Special Requirements

Ability to engage guests and drive game sales. Good organizational and multi-tasking skills.

Provide a safe environment for staff and guests by ensuring that washrooms, picnic areas, attractions, and all other spaces on the Playland site are maintained in a clean and debris-free manner. This is an active position that will see you getting in lots of steps on every shift!

Core Candidate Requirements

Must be comfortable with cleaning duties that include, but are not limited to, emptying waste disposal bins, sanitizing food consumption areas, and cleaning washrooms.

Special Requirements

Ability to stand and walk through the park for the duration of shifts. Must be able to work independently.

Support various roles such as ticket sales and scanning, answering questions and issue resolution, greeting guests, cashier duties for rentals and sales of various items, and so much more!

Special Requirements

Previous experience in a customer service role is an asset. Ability to stand for the duration of shifts.

Monitor food levels to ensure items remain in stock and assist with both setup and take down BBQ Buffets after service. Prepare and grill a variety of foods for BBQ Buffets, and provide relevant food information regarding dietary restrictions when requested. Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely service while ensuring the BBQ areas are maintained adhering to food safety standards. As an additional perk, this role will be eligible for gratuities received from corporate events!
