Health and Safety

Health & Safety at the PNE Fair

The health and safety of our guests, team members, partners and performers is a top priority for the PNE. The PNE works closely with local health authorities and follows all current Provincial Health Office orders, including those that potentially could come in place mid-event.

In the case of a change to public health orders, guests and staff will be expected to follow all current orders, and we’ll update our policies here on our website.

Reduced Capacity

The 2022 PNE Fair will be operating with a reduced daily capacity. In 2021 we heard clearly that guests appreciated and felt more comfortable with the increased opportunities for personal space that our daily attendance limits ensured, so we have extended that policy again this year. Tickets must be purchased for a specific date and each day of the Fair will have a capped capacity limit. We strongly encourage guests to pre purchase their tickets, as we can’t guarantee that the day you choose won’t be sold out. Tickets will be available at the entrance gates if online tickets have not sold out for that particular day. We recommend that all guests purchase tickets in advance to avoid disappointment (it’s also a great way to save!). Tickets cannot be transferred to another date.

Mask Requirements

Masks for guests and staff are welcomed and supported, but are not mandatory.

Sick or Self-Isolating? Please stay home.

For the safety of our visitors and staff, please stay home if you or anyone in your household has a fever, is demonstrating any COVID-19 symptoms or does not feel well.

Contact TicketLeader at 604-252-3700 before your visit date and stay home and take care of yourself.

Proof of Vaccination

As per current health requirements, proof of vaccination or a negative COVID test is not required to enter the Fair at this time.

Respect personal space

We’re excited to have you back, but please remember that many of us feel more comfortable with increased personal space.

Hand Sanitization & Hand Washing

Hand sanitizers will be available throughout the site and are encouraged to be used by all guests frequently. Hand washing is required before exiting the livestock barns.

Cashless transactions

The PNE uses cashless procedures on site for retail and food and beverage. We accept credit/debit and recommend that you use your tap enabled cards, or Apple Pay/Google Pay on your mobile device.

Guests without cashless purchase options may visit the Guest Services booth and load a PNE gift card using cash. Gift card purchases are non-refundable, do not expire, and remaining balances can be used during future PNE events. Minimum gift card load of $20.00.
